	Variety type		BELANA is a short straw type with high yielding potential and excellent grading. It has an enhanced proteolysis and cytolysis.
	Recommendation		It is one of Germany´s leading varieties and recommended by German malsters. BELANA is well adapted to elevated regions on poor locations.
