New biological alternative to the control of Potato Cyst Nematodes
  • WHITE STAR is resistant to Globodera rostochiensis (pathotypes 1 to 4) and Globodera pallida (pathotypes 2 and 3)
  • First studies show that the new Globodera pallida type "Emsland" can also be reduced with WHITE STAR
  • Root exudates stimulate the larvae of the Potato Cyst Nematodes to hatch - the hatched larvae can not develop and die
  • When fully grown, WHITE STAR achieves a plant height of up to 1.50 m and a considerable biomass (green mass 55-60 t / ha) which promotes the soil fertility
  • No special demands on the soil type, grows on sand and as well as on loamy soils
  • Solanum sisymbriifolium shares its origin with the potato, which comes from South America and grows optimally at ground temperatures of 15 °C
  • WHITE STAR ensures an intensive root penetration of the top 40 cm and freezes off safely during winter
